I am a multimedia artist; my practice spans painting, drawing, tattoo art, street art, photography, clothing design, set curation and more.
Since picking up a camera at the age of eleven, I filmed my first full-length skateboard film before committing to the life of a full-time artist at only seventeen years old. I have travelled extensively across the US and Europe: these experiences are reflected in my work as I take inspiration from the streets of different cities.
Using the idea of ‘one man’s trash is another man’s treasure’, I create artworks from discarded objects such as old doors and broken windows that I find when exploring these places on foot. Throughout the day, I jot down observations, quotes and real life stories in my journal; these serve as notes that I then strive to visually present through my artwork.
I embrace an element of ignorance in my art as it allows me to be fully free to reflect and express how I feel in these moments of discovery.
I see my work as a form of personal activism. I strive to visually tell the unrepresented stories of people and places, often embracing the inevitable touches of conformity whilst fighting the system at the same time. Homage, hypocrisy, reflection, and desire are key concepts that I explore in my work.
My work can be found in over 3,000+ private collections across the world, including in the US, Canada, The Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, France, South Korea Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Bulgaria, Thailand And China. I have presented artworks in various showcases: a dual show with my late mentor (Las Vegas), multiple group shows with Lucy Ford in Beverly Hills, Fairfax, San Francisco, Echo Park; and a one-month long mural at Cergy-Pontoise University, France.
